About the blog
Who are we?#
My name’s Malcolm, and I run this blog with my wife Grace. The two of us met at the tail end of high school and dated through college, eventually marrying in 2024. We currently reside in my lifelong home state of Colorado, where I work as a software engineer and Grace as the queen of “The Cozy Cone” (our home).
Why blog?#
Given the… interesting times we live in, and that on top of the ordinary events of life, Grace and I often find ourselves in deep discussion of whatever is on our minds. Always at the core of these discussions is the same question: what is the Christian response to this situation? What would I do if I was full of Christ? Some of these topics are well-tread within the church and some are hardly touched on at all. Either way, we’ll sometimes publish what we’re thinking about any of those topics, especially the ones that fill a gap in the corpus of church writing.
What do you believe?#
We follow the historic Reformed Christian tradition contained in the Westminster Standards. Our striving and intent is to accurately represent “the whole counsel of God” grounded in that reality.
What’s with the name?#
Our inspiration comes from the song “Heretic” by Gable Price and Friends:
